VAT on School Fees
You will be aware, the UK Government has imposed VAT on Independent school fees with effect from 1st January 2025.
Please note that the fees are unchanged from the Autumn Term 2024 and are now, for the current Spring Term 2025, inclusive of VAT. The School has effectively absorbed the additional 20% VAT for this term, concluding at the start of the Easter/Spring holiday.
There will, however, inevitably have to be a significant fee increase effective from 1st April 2025 – i.e. for the Summer Term 2025 – and the level of this increase will be communicated to all parents, current and prospective, in the course of the next few weeks.
