History

The School was founded in 1929 as a boys' preparatory school in the Giffnock area of Glasgow.  In 1934 the School moved to its current location in the former mansion house of the Broom Estate.  In 1977, it expanded to become an all-through School and became co-educational in 2000.  The School's reputation for excellence is founded upon a modern educational  experience combined with the fostering of the best of traditional standards and values of respect, confidence and a sense of community.  We believe this allows every pupil to achieve his or her full potential in a community where pupils of any religious or ethnic background benefit from a culture of mutual tolerance and respect.
