Our local MP, Paul Masterton came into speak to the Senior 3 & 4 Modern Studies pupils. He delivered an informative and often amusing talk on a wide variety of topics ranging from who might be the best person to replace Theresa May, should cannabis be legalised?, stop and search powers, the end of the USA as the world’s only real superpower and of course the ongoing debate around BREXIT.
Mr Masterton, who was accompanied by former Belmont House pupil Jack Wiley, also offered the chance of work experience to pupils who might be considering a career in public service.
