The small and nurturing ethos of the Junior School affords a happy, focused and well structured environment for the academic, social and emotional development of all its pupils.
In the early years, a strong and purposeful emphasis on learning core skills in Mathematics and Language underpins the ability of our pupils to progress confidently and successfully in other areas of the curriculum, which covers:
Information & Communication
Religious and Moral Education
Personal, Social and Health Education
A wide range of extracurricular clubs and activities are on offer in the Junior School e.g., Outdoor Activities, Multi-sports, STEM, Glee, Chess, Local Area Studies, Arts & Crafts, Minecraft, Pets and Football. The Belmont buddies club is a social club which helps our younger pupils develop team-building, cooperation and resilience through fun games ad activities. The Micro and Mini Junior Duke Award Scheme is also a key feature of the extra-curricular offering in the Junior School
Extra-curricular activities provide stimulating opportunities instilling our pupils with confidence and the skills to progress to the Senior School.
Through our attentive and high-quality teaching, we endeavor to provide the highest possible level of academic attainment and achievement for all our pupils and to equip them with skills they will need for a successful future.
