On Friday 21st April this year 18 pupils and 4 staff undertook the Bronze practice expedition in the Strathfillan and Bridge of Orchy area. The route took the three groups along stretches of the West Highland Way and into Glen Orchy over a 25 kilometres trek, 2 day trek, with a camp at Beinglas Farm.
The pictures on this board demonstrate a few of the skills that the three groups undertook in fine, warm weather-a pleasant change from the usual damp and cold that often accompanies our treks at this time of the year.
All three groups managed to complete the trek and were given a lot of help and support from the supervisors present. This will all be taken on board as the teams go forward to the Assessment Expedition in a couple of weeks’ time
