Recent Events and Expenditure
Ladies Night II in March was a resounding success with over 40 Ladies attending a supper in Boater's Café. The evening included a talk and make up demonstration by Aileen Ballinger who owns "Complete" in Tantallon Road, Shawlands. There was a Sale of Artwork by FW Holyroyd, Fine Art Suppliers. In addition there were handbags and accessories calling out to be bought.
The event raised in excess of £500 for the PTA Funds. A big thank you to everyone, especially our "Dancing Queens " who helped make it such a fun evening.
Recent expenditure has included the visit of the Mousetails Puppet Theatre to the Junior School and, prior to the end of this Term, the After Show Party for the cast and crew of the Senior School Production of Kiss Me Kate.
The PTA Committee normally meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm in the school and specific dates are on the Calendar of Events. However, the next Meeting will be held on Thursday 6th September to concide with the Junior School Meet the Teacher event on that date.
The PTA is an active group of parents and teachers trying to provide all parents with the opportunity to enjoy some involvement with the school that is shaping their child for the future. All parents are automatically members and are most welcome to become involved.
