A happy, nurturing community where busy days and interesting projects inspire and expand young minds.

Welcome & Ethos

The Junior School is a happy and vibrant place to learn. Our small class sizes allow for individual attention and provide an environment which is conducive to each child achieving their potential. Our curriculum offers depth and relevance, not only to meet the needs of pupils in the short term but to prepare them for their future roles in society. An emphasis on active learning, particularly through Purposeful Play in Junior 1-3, collaborative work and Setting engages the children in their learning. Many curricular areas such as PE, Art, French, IT and Music are taught by our Senior School specialists from Junior 3 and some from Junior 1. Through various Enterprise activities organised by each class, all children are given opportunities to develop necessary skills for the world of work. The importance of citizenship, care for the environment and their place in the global perspective are also central. IT skills play an important part and permeate the whole curriculum.
