Belmont House Junior School has a caring and nurturing ethos which ensures that each child is known by every member of staff. In the Junior School we promote an ethos of achievement, tolerance, compassion and understanding and, therefore, there are high expectations of good manners and good behaviour from every child no matter their age.
Our pupils are encouraged to be good citizens, care for the environment and look after their own health and mental wellbeing via the Eco-Schools Scotland, Health Promoting Schools and our Assemblies, Pupil Council and House Meetings. Each year, fundraising activities raise money which is given to a variety of worthy causes and charities.
